We are one of the largest accredited community living organizations in Ontario with over 525 employees and an annual operating budget of over $45 million. We provide services through a variety of programs in the Barrie, Orillia and surrounding areas. We are recruiting for a Student to assist in our Human Resources Department, providing administrative support to the department. This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible for approximately 4-6 months. The Agency welcomes applications from placement/co-op students and/or will offer flex time to accommodate the successful candidate for attending school. This position works up to 37.5 hours biweekly with an hourly rate of pay of $17.45.

Minimum Qualifications of the Job Include:

  • Completion of secondary school. Enrolled in a post-secondary educational institution a related field of education which may include Business/Office Administration, Human Resources or legal administration is an asset.

Overview of Duties (including, but not limited to):

  • Providing administrative duties and support to the Human Resources Department;
  • Filing of hard copy documents;
  • Assisting with the recruitment process including job postings on our applicant tracking system;
  • Scheduling interviews; preparing interview packages; completing references;
  • Providing support for Health and Safety, labour relations, taking minutes and preparing for approval and distribution;
  • Assisting scheduling with time data entry and information reconciliation in the HRIS scheduling system;
  • Other administrative tasks as assigned.
